We have an immediate opening for the following position:
Maintenance Technician (1st & 2nd Shift) Purpose of PositionProvide maintenance support for all operations at Pan‑Oston in an efficient and timely manner. Responsible for maintaining facility systems and manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and optimal performance.
Responsibility and AuthorityResponsible for performing preventive maintenance and addressing breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on industrial machinery. This position works under general supervision and follows established procedures, prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency in all repair and maintenance activities.
Essential Functions of the Position- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on facility systems and manufacturing equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Identify and research necessary parts for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Document labor hours and part usage in the company’s maintenance system.
- Assist with maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
- Support efforts to reduce downtime and improve maintenance efficiency.
- Help maintain and update asset records and maintenance logs.
- Receive and verify incoming maintenance‑related parts and materials.
- Comply with all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Position Requirements (Skills & Abilities)
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, painting, carpentry, and industrial systems.
- Skill in the use of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective problem‑solving and organizational skills.
Use of general hand tools, amp and volt meters, multimeters, pressure gauges, saws, drills, grinders, milling machines and other tools associated with equipment maintenance.
Work Experience1–2 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment. Experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is preferred.
