General Manager

We are a premier roofing firm with 20 years of success. We have built a reputation for quality and reliability, and we are now seeking a high-caliber General Manager / COO to lead our next phase of evolution. This is a "Key-Player" hire intended for a leader who wants to professionalize a successful operation and share in the long-term value they help create.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

As the General Manager, you will be the "Integrator" of our company. You will own the P&L and have full authority to optimize our operations, systems, and personnel. We are looking for a leader to take us from a successful family operated company to a process-driven, highly efficient organization increasing our revenue and knowing all aspects of the numbers.

• Operational Architecture: Document and refine SOPs to ensure every department (Sales, Production, Admin) runs with "franchise-like" precision.
• P&L Ownership: Full authority over margins, labor burden, and overhead to maximize EBITDA without compromising our reputation for quality.
• The "Pulse": Implement a data-driven culture by establishing weekly KPI scorecards and a structured leadership meeting cadence (EOS/Traction).
• Strategic Team Leadership: Directly manage department heads and lead the high-level recruitment of top-tier talent to fill critical growth gaps.

• The Scaler: You have a proven track record of scaling home services or construction firms.
• The Integrator: You are an "Integrator" by nature—you thrive on systems, spreadsheets, and radical accountability. You prefer a clear process over "winging it."
• The Value-Builder: You are seeking a performance-based Equity or Profit Participation plan where your total compensation is tied directly to the enterprise value you help build.

• Leadership & Direction: Provide vision-aligned leadership to the management team and field staff.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgets, payroll, revenue forecasting, and vendor negotiations.
• Talent Development: Drive the professional development of employees, ensuring a "promote-from-within" culture where possible.
• Quality Control: Audit production and service workflows to ensure our standards of excellence remain consistent during rapid growth.
• Training: Oversee the onboarding and training of new hires on our proprietary business practices and safety protocols.

• Executive Leadership: 5+ years of experience in a GM, COO, or Director of Operations role within the trades or construction industry.
• Financial Literacy: Deep comfort working with complex budgets, P&L statements, and revenue forecasting models.
• Administrative Excellence: Strong administrative and tech skills (experience with CRMs like Job Progress/Leap, Job Nimbus or Accu Lynx is a major plus).
• Communication: Exceptional ability to lead through influence, resolve conflict, and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.
