SummaryProvides technical support to department personnel in processing commercial insurance policies. Such serving will include verbal and written communication internally with staff and externally with current clients.

60% Client/Policy Services- Provides daily support to Account Managers and commercial insurance accounts.
- Preparing accurate, properly completed certificates of insurance.
- Confirm the existence of certified coverage; check for and secure missing information and authorization when necessary.
- Completing simple change requests, checks endorsements, cancellation endorsements, and audits for accuracy and relevancy.
- Preparing accurate, properly completed auto ; process new business and renewal. Certificates, auto IDs, endorsements, cancellations, and audits.
- Following up on direct bill late payments and keeping the Producer and Account Manager informed.
- Preparing renewal files and renewal kits, including ordering of loss runs and loss summaries.
- Learning all Commercial Lines service standards and procedures.
Responsibility includes documenting all correspondence, following up for necessary information updates at appropriate times, and keeping the client files organized and up to date.
10% TeamworkWorks together with the team and with other departments, such as Marketing, Accounting, Claims, Producers, etc. This includes conferencing with the Producer or Account Executive to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist other Assistants as needed.
10% DeterminationDisplays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization’s education program.
Education And/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
