We are currently seeking a Multi‑Cloud SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US‑TX), United States (US).
Eligibility Requirements- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
- An FBI CJIS Background check is administered every 12 months.
- This position supports a 24×7 operations production support model.
This role will manage and optimize SQL and object database environments across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with secondary skills in Oracle database administration. The focus is provisioning, performance tuning, high availability, backup, and security of SQL databases and cloud‑native object databases in a multi‑cloud environment, supporting mission‑critical applications and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities SQL Database Administration- Provision, configure, and maintain SQL Server, Postgre
SQL, MySQL, and Oracle DB instances in AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL Database, GCP Cloud SQL/Alloy
DB, and OCI Autonomous Database. - Design and implement high‑availability and disaster‑recovery solutions (e.g., multi‑AZ, failover groups, cross‑region replication).
- Perform database backup, restore, patching, and upgrade operations across all cloud platforms.
- Monitor and tune database performance using cloud‑native monitoring tools and traditional database performance tools.
- Manage and optimize cloud‑native object databases:
- AWS DynamoDB
- Azure Cosmos DB
- Google Cloud Firestore / Bigtable
- Oracle No
SQL Database Cloud Service
- Implement best practices for partitioning, indexing, throughput provisioning, and capacity management.
- Establish lifecycle management policies for object data, backup strategies, and encryption.
- Automate database provisioning and configuration using Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure ARM/Bicep templates, GCP Deployment Manager, and OCI Resource Manager.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for database schema changes using Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, or Cloud Build.
- Enforce database security policies, encryption at rest and in transit, and access controls through IAM roles/policies across all clouds.
- Support audits by ensuring logging, alerting, and compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, PCI, SOC₂).
- Work closely with cloud engineers, Dev Ops teams, data analysts, and application developers to support development and production environments.
- Participate in on‑call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Demonstrate expertise managing SQL Server databases with full managed services workflows.
- Build and manage PaaS databases in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI for SQL and Oracle.

Oracle - 5+ years of experience as a SQL DBA in enterprise environments.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing SQL databases in AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- 2+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Microsoft SQL DBA or any SQL DBA certification.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience with AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL Database, GCP Cloud SQL/Alloy
DB, and OCI Autonomous Database. - Working knowledge of Dynamo
DB, Cosmos DB, Firestore/Bigtable, Oracle No
SQL Database. - Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles, IAM, and encryption mechanisms.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
- MCTS, MCITP certifications.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) credentials.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Database Specialty, Azure Database Administrator Associate, Google Professional Cloud Database Engineer, OCI Database Cloud Professional).
- Experience with Kafka, Rabbit
