Overview
This person is going to be helping design an assembly line calculating Demand at Capacity, building excel files to calculate # of stations needed, reviewing OMS/work content to potentially combine work stations, manipulate and create new AutoCAD details to build line, ensure proper ergonomics and work cell spacing, consider new utilities/tooling/equipment need to support production, capex creation, etc.

- BSME or related (must have a verifiable BS in engineering)
- 5+ years' experience.
- Mobile equipment background (automotive, heavy equipment, etc.
- they will NOT consider Aerospace folks). - Experience doing assembly line design
- Must have line balancing and takt time experience
- Knowledge of JIT, CSM, and DFT techniques and philosophy
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles.
- Familiarity with PLC, automation, machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, and torque tooling.
- Strong Excel.
- Strong AutoCAD.
- Some budgetary experience for Capex creation, and project planning experience for the line design implementation
- Core Tree experience for determining Build IDs.
