Manufacturing Engineers

Overview

This person is going to be helping design an assembly line calculating Demand at Capacity, building excel files to calculate # of stations needed, reviewing OMS/work content to potentially combine work stations, manipulate and create new AutoCAD details to build line, ensure proper ergonomics and work cell spacing, consider new utilities/tooling/equipment need to support production, capex creation, etc.

• BSME or related (must have a verifiable BS in engineering)
• 5+ years' experience.
• Mobile equipment background (automotive, heavy equipment, etc.
  
  - they will NOT consider Aerospace folks).
• Experience doing assembly line design
• Must have line balancing and takt time experience
• Knowledge of JIT, CSM, and DFT techniques and philosophy
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles.
• Familiarity with PLC, automation, machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, and torque tooling.
• Strong Excel.
• Strong AutoCAD.
• Some budgetary experience for Capex creation, and project planning experience for the line design implementation
• Core Tree experience for determining Build IDs.
