Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

This is not a sit-and-shadow internship, you’ll work alongside engineers and maintenance leaders on active projects that impact production, reliability, and continuous improvement across our facilities.

PrimaryResponsibilities
- Assist with development, revision, and standardization of process documentation and work instructions
- Create and update drawings, layouts, and technical documentation using CAD software
- Support engineers with process and equipment improvement projects
- Help document manufacturing processes, equipment setups, and best practices
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to capture accurate process details
- Support new or revised equipment and machinery implementation
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Assist with data collection and technical analysis related to production and equipment performance
- Currently pursuing a degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Completed at least [sophomore/junior] year preferred
- Experience with CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar) strongly preferred
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Interest in manufacturing processes and equipment
- Comfortable working in both office and plant environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
