Our network in the Asia-Pacific region has positioned Rim Polymers as one of the leading manufacturers of Polyurethane machines and plants for automotive, refrigerator & freezer, solar water heaters, wind energy, marine flotation, insulation for LNG tank, panel, pipe insulation and other applications.
We are rapidly transforming our machines to be Industrial 4.0 enabled for greater operational efficiency.
- Installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of PU foam dispensing machines including mould carrier, panel press and other conveyor system.
- Liaise and work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure best solutions are identified and problems are solved with minimum supervision.
- Liaise with head office for information and status of the ongoing projects.
- Sourcing for new suppliers/ contractors required for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate and ensure smooth start up, work closely with the customer and to get acceptance signature.
- Provide feedback to engineering and service dept to reduce parts replacement, shorten the installation time and meeting customer satisfaction.
- Conduct user training for end-customers.
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Able to read and understand electrical / hydraulic / pneumatics schematics drawings.
- Knowledge and experience in PLC programming an added advantage.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Customer relationship management skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Frequent overseas travel is required.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin to support customers in China and to work with associates based in China.
