The Department of English is accepting applications to create a pool of qualified faculty to teach undergraduate and graduate courses within the TESOL program. We are seeking part time faculty for day and evening classes at the main campus location.

The Department of English is housed within the Potter College of Arts and Letters at Western Kentucky University and offers undergraduate and graduate courses, including a minor and both an undergraduate and graduate certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Job Requirements:

Master's degree (any degree type) in TESOL/TESL, SLA, Linguistic OR a Master's degree in a related area with 18 hours of graduate credit in the academic disciplines listed above.

A master's degree in the discipline is required for teaching undergraduate-level courses; a terminal degree is required for teaching graduate-level courses. Prior teaching experience and experience with online education is desirable.

All successful candidates must have the ability to engage in alternative modes of instructional delivery, which may include online (distance learning) courses. Instruction modality is based on assigned teaching duties.
