The Department of Theatre & Dance at Western Kentucky University (WKU) seeks applications for a part-time costume shop manager beginning in January 2026. Duties include supervising student workers and lab students in the Theatre & Dance department Costume Shop and collaborating with the costume faculty member to oversee the purchase, alteration and/or construction of costumes for department theatre and dance productions.

Additional duties may include assistance with fittings, organization of costume storage, load in and strike of shows, and ensuring all safety and privacy protocols are followed. This is a part-time position during the academic year, from mid-August through mid-May. Salary is $20 per hour at no more than 25 hours per week. Hours will typically be on weekday afternoons with some flexibility.

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to climb stairs, and lift 20 lbs.
• Experience in constructing and altering clothing

Hourly Rate: $20.00
