The Medical Center at Caverna is seeking an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our team in Horse Cave, Kentucky, just outside of Bowling Green. Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in either emergency medicine (EM), internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM)
- Valid state medical license (Kentucky) or the ability to obtain one
- 25-bed community hospital
- Full continuum of care, including diagnostic imaging (recently upgraded 64-slice CT scanner), laboratory services, specialty clinics, rehabilitation, inpatient care, primary care, and post-acute "swing bed" services
- Part of Med Center Health, providing seamless access to advanced specialty services such as cardiac surgery, oncology, orthopedics, and OB/neonatology
- Accredited for quality, including Acute Stroke Ready Hospital designation and advanced radiology certifications (mammography and lung cancer screening)
