The Opportunity

OBHG OB/GYN Hospitalists are the in-house experts whose ability to handle any obstetric emergency dramatically improves patient safety and satisfaction.

This opportunity involves working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure that every pregnant woman who presents to the hospital is cared for by an experienced physician every time. We are seeking OB/GYNs with exceptional clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to shape the future of our specialty.

Hospital Information

The Medical Center at Bowling Green currently sees approximately 2,800 annual deliveries and 3,200 annual outpatient visits.

OBHG’s program will enhance patient access, increase birthing volume, attract new physicians and improve collaboration with local clinics. OBHG’s physicians will work alongside the hospital’s residents.

They see 1,056 annual deliveries and 1,200 triage visits.

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital

Located in Owensboro, KY, this 477-bed hospital offers acute care with a level III NICU, private labor and delivery rooms, and surgical suites. There has been a generous rate increase as of November 2024.

King’s Daughters Medical Center

In Ashland, KY, this hospital has a long history since 1917, with recent expansions. It houses one of only four level III NICUs in the state, with full-time neonatologists providing care for premature and medically complex newborns. A rate increase was implemented in January 2025.

St. Joseph East Hospital

In Lexington, KY, this 217-bed hospital features a Women's Hospital with 12 labor and delivery rooms, three C-section rooms, and a 16-bed level II NICU, dedicated to women’s health.
