Description:

WBKO in Bowling Green, KY, seeks a Creative Services Producer to join our team. In this role, you'll put your creative thinking and skills to work to create exciting and emotion‑driven advertising and content marketing alongside a creative and dynamic team. You'll conceptualize, produce, write, edit, and share creative across many channels: TV, , social media, and more. This person will be responsible for the development of cutting‑edge commercial and promotional spots for the vibrant Bowling Green, KY market from concept to completion.

Creative script writing, shooting, and non‑linear editing experience is a must. The ideal candidate for this position must be self‑motivated, have passion, a solid work ethic, and a positive attitude to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. The candidate will have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. This person will be expected to be a team player and take part in all aspects of commercial and station marketing production, as well as production support.

Must work closely with sales and news to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials, load spots, convert files for sales, and work with news to assist in the production of station promos. Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the information listed above.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have experience with Adobe Creative Suite and will have very strong camera and editing skills, as well as knowledge of DSLR equipment.
• The ability to interact professionally and effectively with all internal WBKO employees and external organizations is a must.
• Must have an advanced background in Adobe Premiere.
• After Effects experience a plus.
• Some weekends may be required.
• Bilingual ability a plus.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible range of days and hours depending on need.
• Looking for a candidate who must have at least 2+ years of combined experience as a Promotions Producer and Creative Services Producer with demonstrated experience with writing, shooting, and editing broadcast‑quality TV commercials, station promotions, long/short‑form videos, and digital marketing at a local TV station in a fast‑paced news environment.
• This position will also work events on weekends when scheduled.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• A college degree or equivalent is preferred.
