Overview
Tremco Incorporated is a leading manufacturer of products for the construction and new building maintenance markets and a fast-growing division of RPM. Our Weatherproofing Technologies Division currently seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in running and supervising commercial construction projects to deliver projects on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for jobsite safety, resolving project issues and problems, scheduling and providing coordination between subcontractors and owner operations, quality and affirming specifications are followed in accordance with Tremco standards, project costs and generating reports on project status, and ensuring owner satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Maintain jobsite safety and resolve project issues.
- Schedule and coordinate between subcontractors and owner operations.
- Ensure quality and that specifications follow Tremco standards.
- Track project costs and generate reports on project status to ensure owner satisfaction.
- Participate in development and enforcement of jobsite safety plans, specifications, price estimates, schedules, and sales efforts as they affect the projects.
- Support Sales & Service, Field Resource & Customer Management communications as necessary.
- Interface with owners, subcontractors, and Company management; keep project records; travel as required.
- 5-10 years’ experience in commercial construction or 5 years as a foreman; ability to interface with owners, subcontractors, and Company management; travel required.
- Core understanding of general building standards knowledge, scheduling, shop drawing review.
- OSHA 10 Hour Certification is required.
- Deep understanding of all Construction Management tasks; understanding of Superintendent roles & responsibilities; strong written, oral and digital communication skills; ability to create performance reporting.
- Computer literacy:
Email, web, MS Word, and MS Excel.
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20 and $33. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
