Administrative Specialist SeniorPosition Overview
The Administrative Specialist Senior position is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Bowling Green Veterans Center’s Administrator and administrative staff.
Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To- Planning, organizing and executing administrative functions for the Administrator, Assistant Administrator and administrative staff
- Provides guidance related to policy interpretation to employees and public
- Oversees and coordinates special programs and researches projects in support of total facility operations
- Communicates frequently with staff, residents, and visitors to disseminate instructions and information
- Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements EDUCATIONGraduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLSThree years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCEAdditional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATIONAdditional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
