SHR Talent is partnering with a manufacturing client in Bowling Green, Kentucky in its search for a Plant Accountant. The Plant Accountant supports plant-level accounting operations while working closely with a centralized corporate accounting team. The Plant Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting operational leadership, and maintaining strong accounting controls within a growing manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities- Support monthly close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Assist with cost accounting, inventory management, and variance analysis
- Partner with plant leadership on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Support audits and continuous process improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Experience with plant or operational accounting environments, preferred
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
