The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $17.50 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $17.50 USD - $26.25 USD per hour.

We have a training program to teach you everything you need to know to be a Guest Advocate. Core skills include:

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and show appreciation for their visit
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Handle returns according to policy; seek assistance from leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage racks, baskets, and hangers as needed
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage requirements)
• All other duties based on business needs
