Overview

Specialty Sales (Style, Tech, Beauty, Ulta Beauty) (T1004) role  position involves assisting guests, maintaining floor readiness, and delivering an exceptional guest experience across Style, Tech, and Beauty departments.

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, inspirational and promotional signing, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist the guest as needed.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use them to solve and support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and visual merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by executing priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity to create a guest-ready floor.
• Execute and maintain backroom organization, including locating merchandise to support replenishment, fulfillment, and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as they sell through using remerchandising best practices to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for our guest.
• Support price change processes by executing clearance merchandising best practices, including signing execution.
• Maintain and use the fitting rooms as an opportunity to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from the fitting room and guest service are worked back out to the salesfloor throughout the day.
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping solve their specific needs; thank guests for shopping Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to communicate using handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed; effective communication skills; able to work independently or with a team.
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and remain focused in a fast-paced environment; capable of accomplishing multiple tasks within established time frames.

Physical requirements include handling cash register operations as needed, climbing ladders, scanning and moving merchandise, and lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance. Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and ability to work in varying temperatures may apply.
