Vision Center Manager

$27.00/hr – $37.00/hr

• Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and inventory management.
• Budge and forecast sales while assessing economic trends and community needs to drive business performance.
• Enforce and provide direction on proper customer/member service approaches and techniques to resolve complaints and issues within company guidelines.
• Oversee implementation of community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve as good members of the community.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations, including safety, asset protection, and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve performance, provide guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
• Provide supervision, training, mentoring, and development opportunities for Associates in the Vision Center.
• Consult with and educate Members on eyewear selection, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, and perform minor frame repair.
• Maintain confidential information and documentation, ensuring data privacy and integrity.
• Apply the Open Door Policy by listening to employee concerns and suggesting resolutions.
• Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, and foster a culture of belonging and continuous learning.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

• Supervising Associates experience.
