Shifts:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- 4 days on, 2 days off (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM / 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM)
- 4 days on, 4 days off (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)
- 3 days on 2 days off, 2 days on 3 days off, 2 days on 2 days off (every 2nd weekend off) (8 AM - 8 PM)
- Part-time, 14 hours per week
- 4 days on, 4 days off (6:30 PM - 10:30 PM)
- Casual:

Wages: $32.84 - $41.35 per hour
Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN Must Haves- Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurse program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM.
- Active registration as an LPN with BCCNM
- Maintains a Valid First Aid and CPR “A” Certificate
- Maintain Occupational First Aid Level 1 status (may be Level 2 depending on site)
- Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Passes and complies with Ministry of Justice Criminal record Check on hire and every 5 years thereafter
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written

- Observe, monitor, document, and update information about residents’ physical and psychological condition, care, and nursing procedures
- Provide and assist with personal care to residents as required
- Support emergency staff scheduling, as required
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices and provide education for outbreak and basic infection control
- Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
- Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
- Assessing and monitoring residents’ strengths and needs across physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual aspects
- Taking appropriate action such as consulting with the primary physician or referring to the Mental Health Team
- Gerontological experience preferred
- MDS education (Gold Care or Point Click Care)
- 1-2 years’ experience in a complex care site preferred
