Responsibilities
  • Create Excellent Guest Experiences: Be the guide on our guest journey, making every stop unforgettable. Partner with Store Leadership to ensure our guests favorite items are always available and the store looks brand new.
  • Build Teams and Leaders: Recruit and train a diverse, people-focused crew. Support your team’s development and growth with a focus on skills training.
  • Grow Sales and Manage Inventory: Navigate top-line sales and inventory with the skills of a true leader. Develop strong relationships with vendors and partner with Store Leadership to ensure sales are growing through proper order execution and brand standards.
  • Operate with Brand Excellence: Keep our adventure site in top-notch condition, ready to impress. Ensure the store is adequately staffed and prepared for any special guest or mystery shop that comes its way.
  • Lead Food Safety and Food Operations: Safeguard our food operations like a seasoned professional. Partner with Store Leadership to ensure all back of house team is Serv Safe certified and protects food margins through consistent PAR execution.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (2-year college degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3‑5 years of food service or retail store management experience.
  • Leadership

    Skills:

    Demonstrated ability to lead a high‑performing team.
  • Communication: Possesses strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal and external customers.
  • Organization: Enjoys having a plan and achieving goals, flexes problem‑solving skills and tackles projects.
  • Basic Business

    Skills:

    Proven ability to understand business math including analyzing P&Ls and enjoys learning and becoming an expert in technology.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to our corporate headquarters in La Plata, MD for training events.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs and keep the momentum going for 8 hours a day lifting, bending, and standing.
