Note:

This position is as an OPERATOR
, not a supervisory role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment such as tractors, feed systems, ventilation systems, pumps, generators, water lines and pressure washers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain climate control systems such as fans, heaters, curtain motors, and thermostats
• Perform arc, MIG, or TIG welding to repair or fabricate metal parts, gates, fences, and equipment
• Assist in cleaning and disinfecting barns and farm equipment to meet animal health and biosecurity standard
• Support the maintenance of biosecurity infrastructure, such as showers, entry rooms, and barriers
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance tasks, service intervals, parts used, and repair dates
• Respond to emergency repair needs promptly to reduce downtime and protect livestock health

Working Conditions:

• Usual work hours: 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Average of 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period
• One day off per week
• Work locations: various farms in states such as North Carolina, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Kentucky, among others
• Extreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer)

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, a TN work visa for the United States is required. Therefore, it is essential to meet the following requirements:

• Be of Mexican nationality
• Hold a university degree and professional license in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering
  , or a related field
• Possess a Mexican passport valid for at least 1 year
• Have a valid Mexican driver's license
