DSP, Community Living Services/Residential (Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 9:00pm)
Do you enjoy helping others reach their full potential? If so, a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position with Ardmore Enterprises could be the perfect fit. As a DSP you’ll play an essential role in ensuring that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities feel respected and empowered to choose and participate in community events and activities.
Responsibilities- Support individuals in achieving personal goals with a person‑centered focus.
- Teach independent living and daily skills, including grooming and personal care routines.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in social activities and frequent community outings.
- Instruct and support residents in household tasks such as cleaning, meal preparation and food shopping.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills with individuals receiving services.
- Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special needs populations.
