Position:
Physical Therapist Assistant
Location:Bowie, Maryland – Nova Care Bowie outpatient orthopedic center
Compensation:Starting at $29.00 / hr.
Schedule:Full Time, 40 Hours with Two Evenings
Overview:Join our Nova Care outpatient orthopedic center in Bowie, Maryland, to be part of a respected clinical team delivering exceptional care to patients of all ages and abilities. We are seeking a full‑time physical therapist assistant to treat a diverse population of general ortho, neurology, vestibular, and sports medicine diagnoses. Nova Care Bowie welcomes new graduate physical therapists. Our large collaborative team’s mentorship will ensure a successful transition from clinical to licensed experience.

- Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act.
- Deliver high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies and procedures.
- Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, enhancing and expanding client relations with centers and their staff.
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Passed the national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
- CPR certification.
