Class 2 Refuse Driver

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Class 2 (Cat C) Refuse Drivers required asap.

Working in a team, the work will involve driving refuse collection vehicles as well as opportunities to drive skip and RORO vehicles. Experience with rear wheel steer and waste collection would be beneficial.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be speaking to our commercial customers and members of the public.

You will be required to drive a Class 2 HGV vehicle and it is imperative you hold a valid CPC and digital tacho card.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday and overtime available

Start time: 0500 Finish time:
Job on finish approx. 7.5 hour day

Pay rate: £14.82 per hour

Time and a half on Saturdays.

Double time on Sundays.

You must have:

• Full CAT C driving licence
• Valid Digi Tacho
• Valid CPC
• No more than 6 points on your licence (No DD/IN/DR).
• Willing and positive attitude.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients / customers.
• Ability to work within a team.

This is a temporary position that could result in a permanent position.
