HGV Driver

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are now offering an exciting and temporary opportunity for an experienced HGV driver with our client in Bournemouth.

You will receive a £100 Bonus for the first 20 shifts that you complete with Driver Hire.

• Position: HGV Driver
• Days:
  Monday – Sunday (Flexible)
• Start time: 07:00 / 08:00 AM
• Location:
  
  Bournemouth
• Pay Rate: £16.25–£17.37 (basic), £18.21–£19.61 (Nights & Saturdays), £20.17–£20.73 (Sunday & Bank Holiday) per hour. Quoted rate is for PAYE advance holiday pay.

• a valid UK HGV driving licence
• a valid CPC and digital tachograph card
• a minimum of 6 months of recent commercial experience
• your own transport to get to and from work
• no more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN codes)

• Safely operating HGVs to transport goods to various locations
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
