Flexible On-Call Support (Optional):
After 6‑12 months in role, there is an optional opportunity to participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota (approximately once every 5‑6 weeks) with a fixed allowance. This is entirely flexible and voluntary.

- Develop new features and enhance existing retail solutions
- Build and maintain Java microservices and Android applications
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate in agile processes and daily stand‑ups
- Troubleshoot issues across local and cloud environments
- Support deployments and maintain technical documentation
- Experience developing with Java
- Database experience with MySQL or similar technologies
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Excellent documentation and technical reading abilities
Industry exposure working with full‑stack development - Experience with Java and Android
- Unit testing expertise for web services and mobile applications
- AWS experience
- Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTPS, RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with Jira, Git Lab, and git workflows
- Familiarity with Grails framework
