Overview
The pay range for this role is £33,699 - £39,152 (pro rata for part-time colleagues). We’re welcoming new colleagues under a refreshed framework of pay, terms, and conditions. To promote fairness and consistency, all new starters will begin at the bottom of the pay band. This reflects our commitment to equity across the organisation and aligns with the approach taken with existing staff during the transition.

Housing Assessment Specialist
Want to help provide advice and support to people with housing difficulties? We are looking for enthusiastic Housing Assessment Specialists to join our dynamic and innovative team providing housing advice and support to residents with housing problems. Experience of working with people in an advice or problem-solving capacity is required and we will offer opportunities for training and professional development. This role will challenge you every day to use your excellent customer service and problem-solving skills within a supportive and motivated team, helping people in often complex and difficult situations.
Responsibilities- Communicate effectively to understand how to help people resolve their housing situation
- Manage a caseload of households often with complex needs within competing demands
- Collaborate with residents, other services and colleagues to help them find a lasting solution to their problem
- Understand homelessness prevention and support, proactively working to prevent housing crisis
Experience of working with people in an advice or problem-solving capacity is required. Training and professional development opportunities will be provided. This role requires excellent customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a supportive, motivated team environment.
