Job Title: Adult Social Worker - Community Team - Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole

Location: Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole

Pay Rate: £ 35/per hour

Our client is seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background in working with adults with long-term conditions. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting adults with long-term conditions, ensuring their care needs are met. Handling Court of Protection cases, ensuring legal compliance and advocacy. Conducting safeguarding duties to protect adults from abuse or neglect. Working with self-neglecting adults, providing interventions.

Undertaking Care Act Assessments and Reviews to address care needs.

Qualifications and

Experience:

  • Professional

    Qualification:

    A recognised professional qualification in social work, such as an MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW (Certificate of Qualification in Social Work).
  • Registration:
    Must be registered with Social Work England, the regulatory body for social workers in England.
  • Experience:

    Significant experience in delivering social work services to vulnerable adults, including those with disabilities and complex needs.
  • Knowledge of Legislation:
    Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, such as the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
  • Skills:

    Strong assessment and analysis skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a car are often required for client visits.
