- Ensure all Marketplace orders are prepared promptly and accurately
- Ensure the team consistently delivers delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production
- Follow the 11‑Step Production Process to guarantee customer safety and accurate product labelling
- Follow the Production Principles putting customers’ needs first and never compromising on quality or freshness
- Use and follow How to Cards consistently to deliver Pret standards
- Carry out Line Checks successfully and act on any improvement needs
- Avoid any Made to Sell (MTS) rejects on display in Langars
- Continually develop the team’s knowledge about the quality of our food and coffee
- Ensure Barista Prepared Drinks are made by trained employees consistently and to the highest standard
- Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards are consistently followed
- Monitor and record all safety checks correctly
- Take corrective action immediately on issues affecting customers, team or sales
- Keep shop clean, safe and equipment well maintained
- Apply MBWA principles, proactively monitor Pret Standards and see the shop through the customers’ eyes
- Demonstrate due diligence and report any quality issues
- Maximise sales, labour efficiency and profit through support of the Big 4 (Forecasting, Rota, Ordering & Production)
- Carry out ordering accurately and in line with business needs
- Lead, monitor and follow up on Mystery Shopper requirements
- Ensure good stock control by following the 7 Steps of Unaccounted
- Ensure Pret’s Financial Standards are always followed to minimise risks and ensure team safety
- Follow merchandising guidelines and use marketing effectively to drive sales
- Support the execution of successful food launches
- Encourage clear and engaging communication between kitchen and FOH to meet business needs
- Support Marketplace opportunities
