Role
Aircraft Fitter
LocationBournemouth
Rate£33 ph umbrella OR £24.40 paye
This is a varied role, working on business and regional size jets in the workshop and out in the hanger in a team of aircraft fitters.
Responsibilities- Safety first. Operate in accordance with the SHE Technical standards.
- Identify where the SHE Technical Standards are applicable to appointed operations / tasks and apply safe systems of work identified.
- Apply countermeasures identified in applicable risk assessment to appointed operations / tasks.
- To perform base maintenance and when required line maintenance on company and customer operated aircraft including servicing, inspections, modifications, and defect rectification.
- The control of any material or Company equipment provided for the task.
- Keep all associated Base Maintenance equipment replenished and ensure service dates are complied with.
Monday – Friday starting at 7.30am. (4-day work week possible if preferred, but would be fewer hours). Likely to be circa 40-45 hours a week
