Purpose of the Job
Responsible for day-to-day management of New Product Introduction (NPI) project, either bespoke customer or catalogue/roadmap, from project scope definition and specification, until full series production, according to Parvalux Product Life Cycle process. Responsible for managing the project scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources. The ideal candidate is a passionate, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented team player who is committed to producing top quality work every time.
Key Responsibilities- Driving the fundamentals of project management within Parvalux Project Life Cycle framework.
- Delivering against Business opportunity project mandate.
- Leading and motivating the team to achieve:
- On Time – Delivery (prototypes and mainstream production against expectations).
- On Cost – In Line with project outlines (product cost and project expenditure).
- On Quality – in line with project expectations (Mandate and Design specification).
- Work closely with the cross functional teams to ensure key objectives are prioritised correctly.
- Monitor and report progress, managing risks and focusing on cost adherence.
- Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction by guaranteeing clarity of information exchange, professionally and in line with the business expectations /goals.
- Work in conjunction with engineering, sales, operations, and quality teams to deliver finals solutions to manufacturing.
- Occasional Client / Supplier’s visits may be required.
- Assist in the preparation of department key performance indicators (KPI’s).
- Participation in the continuous improvement of the associated processes.
- Any other reasonable duties, as requested by your manager.
- Maintain high Health and Safety standards, reporting concerns immediately
- Ensure full compliance with regulations
- Formal Qualification in project management or previous project management experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects successfully in fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
- Engineering degree level qualification preferred or other relevant university degree.
- Experience in electrical / electromechanical / motion control systems is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and able to drive through improvements.
- Methodical working style and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to deal with conflict and teamwork.
- High ability to communicate internally and externally.
- Experience working MRP systems is an advantage.
- Self‑motivated, both in a team and independently.
- Dynamic approach to motivating others.
- Computer literate – essential.
- Able to communicate (written & verbal) clearly and effectively in English – essential.
