Desktop Support Engineer

• 2nd/3rd line EUC, Directly support 25 users and wider global IT team.

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues to end-users in a professional manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
• Assist in software upgrades, patch management, and system updates.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols.
• Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and tools.

A successful Desktop Support Engineer should have:

• Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues efficiently (2nd/3rd line)
• Proficiency in managing IT systems, including installation and configuration.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.

• Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 (Some flexibility)
• Permanent position based in Bournemouth,
• 5 days a week on site, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week.
