About the Role
A well-established optical provider is seeking qualified, GOC-registered Optometrists who are committed to placing the patient at the centre of everything they do. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical care while developing strong relationships with patients and branch teams. Suitable for both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists, this position plays a key role in supporting branch performance and delivering exceptional eye care within the local community.
ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive eye examinations, allowing thorough patient care within 30-minute test slots
Use clinical judgement to diagnose and manage a wide range of eye health conditions
Provide tailored advice on spectacle and contact lens options to meet individual patient needs
Build and maintain strong patient relationships, ensuring a positive experience at every visit
Work closely with branch teams to support business growth and high standards of service delivery
Participate in local enhanced service schemes and support pre-registration supervision where applicable
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products and industry developments through ongoing CPD
This role would suit an Optometrist who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and committed to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will be confident in their clinical skills, enjoy working within a supportive team environment, and value hands-on clinical practice. Both newly qualified and experienced Optometrists are encouraged to apply, particularly those motivated to build long-term relationships with patients and colleagues.
