We are looking for a confident Temporary Support Worker working days only with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at Cygnet Amberwood. You’ll be working days only, 42 hrs per week, covering weekdays and weekends. Please be aware that this role is a Temporary Contract with a minimum term of 3 months, with a potential extension until 15th December 2026.

Amberwood Lodge is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, and who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment, promoting independence and community integration. Person‑centred planning is at the heart of everything we do, based on each person’s specific needs. We understand that consistency and continuity of care is important for the individuals we care for.
Your day-to-day as a Support Worker:
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report on medical & welfare needs as required
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
