About the Role

Field Care Supervisor

Location:

Bournemouth

Pay rate: £13.09 per hour

Holder of an NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards)

Hours:

20 per week (No weekend working)

For this role a driving licence and access to a vehicle for work is essential. This exciting Care Supervisor role will involve working 4 days per week Monday to Friday and alternate weekends.

Key Duties (Field Care Supervisor)
  • Support and supervise Home Care Assistants.
  • Assess client needs and write Care Plans.
  • Undertake Care Plan and Quality Reviews.
  • Oversee the professional development of new and existing staff.
  • Work with the wider team to ensure continuity of approach and maintain clear communication.
  • Cover care calls when they are not allocated.
  • Ensure on‑call cover is maintained out‑of‑hours (7.00am – 9.00am, 5.00pm – 10.30pm plus weekends and bank holidays) via a rota system; receive an additional payment for this service.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Holder of an NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards).
  • Strong IT skills, ability to multitask, and work to internal objectives.
  • Genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Holder of an enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one.
