We have a unique, full time role available for an experienced clinician, looking to make a real difference to vulnerable individuals.

My client has an opportunity for a professional, compassionate clinician to lead a team within their Sexual Assault Referral Centre. The successful candidate will manage and co-ordinate the healthcare of service users who have experienced sexual assault, overseeing a team of clinicians involved with their care.

About the role:

This important role requires an empathetic and confident leader, passionate about the care of vulnerable individuals. The successful candidate will oversee a multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality care is delivered within CQC guidelines and other regulatory frameworks.

It will be a requirement to act as the CQC registered manager
, to ensure compliance and safety as well as being positioned as the Safeguarding Lead within the centre. Managerial responsibilities will include oversight of budgets, team performance and appraisals, training and day to day supervision.

This role will also involve undertaking of forensic examinations where required, adhering to NMC and all other relevant guidelines.

Required Experience:
  • NMC Registered Nurse or Midwife, with 4+ years' experience.
  • Experience of Management within a clinical setting.
  • Willing to be the CQC Registered Manager in the setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance and safeguarding
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisation skills.
  • Clinical

    Skills:

    Speculum Examination and Venepuncture.

It ia also desirable (but not essential) for candidates to have experience within Sexual Health, Womens Health, and experience with CQC standards and registration.
