Job Title: Advanced Pharmacist Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Banding: Band 8a Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate: £34 - £37 per hour Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join our client’s team in Bournemouth. This role involves providing advanced pharmaceutical care and services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, and contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of clients.
What will your responsibilities be:The Advanced Pharmacist will be responsible for managing complex medication regimens, conducting clinical reviews, and providing expert advice on pharmaceutical matters. This role includes collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in clinical audits. The pharmacist will also be involved in educating clients about their medications, supporting the development of pharmacy services, and leading research initiatives to advance the field of pharmacy.
Qualificationsand Experiences:
- Relevant registration with a professional body (e.g., GPHC)
- Extensive experience working in a similar post within the NHS
- Qualified to Masters Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of advanced pharmaceutical practices and medication management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and technology
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest research and best practices in the field
