Financial Analyst, Financial Consultant

OpportunityWe are looking for an organised, analytical, and proactive Paraplanner or someone who wants to grow in their role, continue to improve their technical expertise and contribute positively to a team delivering high quality financial planning advice.
Working closely with our Head of Paraplanning, you will help shape client recommendations, prepare client‑ready reports and reviews and contribute to technical research.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to develop within a supportive and knowledge rich environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare client facing material, including financial planning and investment reports, annual suitability reviews and investment portfolio reports and reviews
- Gather, analyse and interpret client information to support the advice process
- Assist with research and supporting material ahead of client meetings
- Conduct product and provider research
- Produce investment portfolio, asset allocation and performance data
- Assist with cash flow modelling and scenario analysis
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, taxation and financial planning strategies
- Ensure all written advice and documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements
- Liaise with product providers, investment managers and external professionals
- Maintain accurate client records and contribute to continuous improvements in internal processes
- Support website updates and assist with our social media content
- Experience in a Paraplanning or financial services role
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to produce clear, client‑friendly reports
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and work independently to deadlines
- Confident user of Intelligent Office, Microsoft Office and provider online portals
- Positive team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
- Working towards or holding the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
- Understanding of pensions, investments, protection and financial planning principles
- Use of Intelliflo Planning
