KS3​/KS4 Tutor; BCP Area

Overview

Prospero Teaching are seeking reliable and qualified KS3/KS4 Tutors, particularly in Maths, English, and Science, to support young people requiring alternate provision in the BCP area. Our tuitions run from 2 to 15 hours a week, so are perfect for those seeking part‑time and full‑time tuition work.

We work with a variety of ages and abilities, so we require our tutors to have strong curriculum knowledge in their subject area and the ability to make learning bespoke to the needs of the young person. This also means that tuition can be very flexible and work around the strengths of the tutor. Tuition usually takes place within the home of the young person and can also run in public settings like libraries and cafes.

Therefore, we will always keep the tutor's home location in mind so that sessions are accessible to all.

• Hold QTS or have at least 6 months experience teaching or tutoring young people.
• Hold an enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service; if you only have a child‑only DBS, you will not be able to work with students aged 18 or over.
• We can help you obtain DBS if you don't have one.
