Tutor; English and Farsi Speaking

Prospero Teaching are seeking an experienced tutor to work with a young boy in the Bournemouth area. His family have recently moved from Iran, and they don't speak much English, so knowledge of Persian Farsi has been requested in order to provide the best support for this young person.

This tuition will cover 15 hours a week (likely 3 hours per day) and will take place in the home (BH9 area). The student is 6 years old and has not been in school before - he is also pre-verbal and has a diagnosis of Autism. The aim of this tuition is for the tutor to build a relationship with the student and his family, giving the local authorities valuable insight into his current needs and abilities.

In order to be eligible, we require our tutors to have experience teaching or tutoring in the past. This may be in the classroom as a teacher (with or without QTS) or supporting as a teaching assistant. Alternatively, you may have been a tutor for 6 months or more working 1:1 with students. We also require all our staff to have an enhanced DBS on the update service.
