GSL Education are hiring a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a primary school in Bournemouth. This role is perfect for someone who is caring, reliable, and ready to help students grow in a positive school environment. You’ll be working closely with teachers to support classroom activities and provide one-to-one or small group help where needed. University students who are interested in starting a career in education are also encouraged to apply.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Team up with teachers to create fun and engaging lessons.
• Support students in their academic journey, boosting their confidence and skills.
• Offer tailored help, whether one-on-one or in small groups, to those who need extra support.
• Create a welcoming space where every student feels valued and included.
• Keep the classroom running smoothly by assisting with organisation, behaviour, and lesson prep.
• Encourage participation, helping students stay engaged and motivated.
• Track progress and provide feedback to help students reach their full potential.
• Lend a hand during school activities, including break times, trips, and special events.
• Work closely with teachers and staff to make learning exciting and accessible for all.

• Classroom Experience: You've got hands-on experience in a similar school role.
• Love of Learning: You're genuinely passionate about helping students thrive.
• Team Player: You communicate brilliantly with teachers and students.
• Adaptable & Flexible: You can tailor your support to fit different learning styles.
• Ready to Go: You have a recent CV (last 10 years, no gaps!) and either an up-to-date enhanced DBS check registered to the update service orare happy to apply for one!
