Salary Grade C, SP 4 – £13.05 per hour (£17,466 actual gross per annum). Contractual, weeks only, term time only, including INSET days. Hours 30 per week, 8.50am to 3.20pm Monday to Friday inclusive.

St Peter's is an oversubscribed, ‘all-through’ school that was designated GOOD by Ofsted in September 2023. It is located on the Dorset coast with ready access to the New Forest – both areas rich with opportunities for outdoor pursuits.

Support the lead teacher in delivering outstanding teaching and learning. Assist with lesson preparation, pupil supervision, marking, and assessment. Contribute to the creation of a caring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Work collaboratively with other teaching assistants, school staff, and the wider community.

Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Experience as a teaching assistant in a secondary setting is preferable but not essential.

Successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check and a KCSIE 2025 online safeguarding check. Your right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the appointment process. CVs are not accepted as a form of application.
