to lead active, healthy lives? If so, this is your chance to join a specialist SEN/PRU Primary school in Bournemouth as our Sports, Health & Wellbeing Lead
.

As our Sports, Health & Wellbeing Lead, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging sports and wellbeing sessions tailored to pupils’ individual needs
  • Promote healthy eating and lifestyle habits across the school community
  • Build partnerships with external agencies to enhance our wellbeing offer
  • Design inclusive, imaginative activities that broaden cultural capital and create memorable experiences beyond the classroom

Our pupils have a range of needs, including:

  • Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Speech & Language challenges
  • Other behavioural needs

Your work will help prepare pupils for a safe, happy, and productive adult life
.

  • Experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND needs
  • No QTS required
    , but a strong background in sports and physical education
  • Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour calmly
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of positive behaviour support strategies
  • Creative, proactive approach to curriculum design
  • Full-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
  • Hours:

    Mon–Thu 08:00–16:00 | Fri 08:00–15:30
