As our Sports, Health & Wellbeing Lead, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging sports and wellbeing sessions tailored to pupils’ individual needs
- Promote healthy eating and lifestyle habits across the school community
- Build partnerships with external agencies to enhance our wellbeing offer
- Design inclusive, imaginative activities that broaden cultural capital and create memorable experiences beyond the classroom
Our pupils have a range of needs, including:
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Speech & Language challenges
- Other behavioural needs
Your work will help prepare pupils for a safe, happy, and productive adult life
.
- Experience supporting children with SEMH/SEND needs
- No QTS required
, but a strong background in sports and physical education - Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour calmly
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of positive behaviour support strategies
- Creative, proactive approach to curriculum design
- Full-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)
- Hours:
Mon–Thu 08:00–16:00 | Fri 08:00–15:30 - Holiday pay

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role temporary may become available at a later date.
