• As part of the English team, you will be responsible for teaching and planning challenging lessons that ensure the progress of all students.
• The twin specialisms of English and Engineering & Design mean that we place literacy and numeracy at the heart of all we do. The department is supported by an experienced Director of English, along with a Subject Lead and coordinators of KS3 and KS5. The English team are passionate about their subject and this is reflected in their lessons.
• The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across the Key Stages, including our highly successful sixth form if appropriate.
• Full Time or Part Time Hours Available.
• Teaching and learning is high on the agenda at The Bourne Academy and staff are actively encouraged to constantly develop, experiment and reflect on their practice.
• Access to high quality in-house CPD as well as the opportunity to gain a bursary towards further studies is available.
• Outstanding ECT support is available for those new to the teaching profession.
