This is a hybrid position
, offering flexibility alongside meaningful collaboration. You’ll be required to attend our Bournemouth office approximately once per month
, with additional travel to client sites and agreed remote locations as required

As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities across the UK energy market, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to sustainable, ethical revenue growth.
Targets are realistic and achievable
, supported by a flexible bonus structure designed to reward long-term performance rather than short-term wins.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities within the I&C energy market
- Building trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and partners
- Networking confidently and representing Omnium at industry events
- Leading discovery conversations to understand client needs and sustainability goals
- Producing tailored proposals and negotiating contracts ethically and transparently
- Collaborating closely with internal energy and delivery teams
- Managing pipeline activity and forecasts using CRM systems
Essential
- Proven business development or sales experience in the energy sector
- Strong networking and relationship-building capability
- Commercially astute with a consultative sales approach
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Preferred
- Existing industry network
- Experience managing accounts or mentoring others
- Background in energy procurement, compliance, or sustainability solutions What You’ll Get
