Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Risk Manager/Analyst
We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and analytical Supply Chain Risk Manager to join our Third Party Management team.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the design, development, and execution of supply chain risk management strategies, ensuring effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across third-party suppliers. The role will be based at our Bournemouth office on a hybrid working pattern.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Senior Supply Chain Risk and Operations Manager in the development and implementation of supply chain risk management strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Support the oversight and maintenance of the risk assessment framework, ensuring alignment with company policies and evolving regulatory standards.
• Manage relationships with high-risk suppliers and support crisis response efforts during supply chain disruptions.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to integrate risk considerations into sourcing and operational decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for risk identification, mitigation, and monitoring processes.
• Report on key risks, mitigation strategies and progress updates.
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and governance forum, compiling evidence and supporting in the drafting of responses.
• Contribute to maintaining and enhancing of the Supply Chain Risk Framework to ensure regulatory compliance with both new and existing regulations.
• Support regulatory horizon scanning of developing data and processes to reflect up-coming regulatory change.
• Lead supplier risk initiatives, including scenario-based workshops to assess business dependencies, identify risk exposures, and collaborate with stakeholders to close gaps.
• Drive the development and maintenance of business-wide exit plans for all material suppliers, supporting senior stakeholders with updating their plans as new supplier engagements occur.
• Support the creation of regular management information reports and dashboards in collaboration with colleagues.
• Demonstrate integrity, pragmatism, sound judgment, initiative, and self-motivation in all aspects of work.
About You

• Risk and financial regulatory experience – a deep understanding of supply chain risk, compliance, and regulatory standards in the financial service sector
• Analytical thinking – skilled at interpreting supply chain risk and contract data and translating it into actionable insights

• Effective communication – clear, concise communicator across all levels of the business
• Influence and stakeholder engagement – builds strong relationships and drives alignment across functions

• Experience of operational resilience or an in depth understanding of SS2/21
Desirable:
• Insurance industry experience.
• Source to Contract systems implementation experience.
