Head Kitchen Porter

Pay Rates: 12.71 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and organized chief steward to lead our team of kitchen porters. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen and service areas and ensuring smooth coordination between the kitchen and service teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen porter team across shifts.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen, storage, and dishwashing areas.
  • Maintain dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment in good working condition.
  • Organise and oversee the cleaning schedules for kitchen and BOH areas.
  • Ensure all hygiene, health, and safety standards are strictly followed.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning chemicals, kitchen utensils and supplies.
  • Assist with waste management and recycling procedures.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate kitchen porters.
  • Liaise with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager to support kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and hygiene regulations.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, evenings).
