The Starting Hourly Rate is $15.50 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $15.50 USD – $23.25 USD per hour.

• You can work as much or as little as you want, creating a personalized schedule that fits your needs.
• Shift selection is done through the myTime mobile scheduling app.
• Reliable and prompt attendance is required for each shift you pick up.
• We require active engagement: pick up and work shifts at least once every four weeks (minimum of four hours) and respond to contact attempts. Failure to do so may result in employment termination.
• You must work at least one shift within five months of being offered a position, or your employment may be administratively terminated.
• Selected candidates will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a short‑term structured training schedule.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services in the store and your area.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target.
• Scan and bag all items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Inform guests about current and upcoming offers, events, and brand launches.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment and usage.
• Assist guests with Target App wallet features.
• Attempt all returns and follow register prompts, partnering with leaders when needed.
• De‑escalate situations and restore guest satisfaction in partnership with leaders.
• Deliver accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive‑Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area and gather abandoned items, baskets, and hangers.
• Stock supplies during store open hours.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards.
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local beverage laws during OPU and DU duties.
• Perform cash office processes as needed.
• Other duties as required by business needs.
