Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Starbucks) position at Target.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their needs when they require assistance.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures impact inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashiers and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws (e.g., adult beverage regulations).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
