Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Bourbonnais, IL, for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical blueprints, performing routine maintenance on equipment, monitoring the machining process, and ensuring all products meet quality standards. The CNC Machinist will actively participate in troubleshooting, assisting with process improvement, and collaborating with the manufacturing and quality teams to meet production goals efficiently and safely.
Qualifications- Proficiency in CNC programming, operation, and setup, including experience with CNC mills, lathes, or related equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills, including the ability to measure and test finished products for accuracy.
- Understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting techniques to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools, and materials relevant to CNC machining.
- Problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities to meet production deadlines efficiently.
- Professional experience in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with safety protocols and industry standards is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or technical training in machining or a related field is an advantage.
